Refund & Return Policy

At I Got My Life Back, we aim to be transparent about our fees and refund terms.

1. Setup Fee Refunds

The Setup Fee is the only fee that may be eligible for a refund under this policy.

A refund of the Setup Fee may be available where:

  • you cancel before your initial clinical review or onboarding has commenced; or
  • we determine that we are unable to provide services to you before your clinical onboarding has been completed.

If your refund is approved, it will be returned to your original payment method within [5–10] business days.

2. Non-Refundable Fees

Except where required by law, all other amounts paid to us are non-refundable, including:

  • consultation fees;
  • treatment plan fees;
  • prescription-related fees;
  • pharmacy, dispensing or medication costs;
  • postage or delivery fees; and
  • any other fees charged after onboarding, clinical review, prescribing, ordering, or supply processes have commenced.

3. Medications and Dispensed Products

For health, safety and regulatory reasons, medications and other dispensed products cannot be returned or refunded once prescribed, ordered, processed, shipped, or supplied, except where required by law.

4. Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds for change of mind, including where you decide not to proceed after services have commenced, except for any Setup Fee refund expressly allowed under this policy or where required by law. Under Australian Consumer Law, businesses are generally not required to provide a refund for change of mind.

5. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, limits or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. If our services fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy such as a refund, replacement, resupply, cancellation, or compensation, depending on the circumstances.

6. How to Request a Refund

7. Processing of Refund Requests

We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis and will notify you of the outcome as soon as reasonably possible. Approved refunds will be paid back to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
